A lifetime of perspective.
- Award-winning entrepreneur
- Featured in Forbes
- Former adviser to sovereign & royal principals
Nicolas Men grew up on the French Riviera, with Monaco woven into his formative years. A decade in the United Arab Emirates followed, shaping a lasting understanding of the Gulf’s business culture. These are the places around which he has built his professional life — and the exclusive focus of The Riva Office.
A closer introduction
His career spans finance, investment and entrepreneurship, with work across real estate, hospitality and architecture. Experience advising sovereign and royal principals has informed an approach in which trust, discretion and sound judgement come before visibility.
His work as a writer sits alongside his life as a dealmaker: attentive to context, motivations and the detail that changes a conversation. At The Riva Office, each relationship is approached personally, with a clear understanding of who is involved, why an introduction matters and what should remain confidential.
The office’s role centres on private introductions. For owners, principals and family offices, the starting point is a direct exchange with Nicolas, grounded in long-standing regional familiarity, mutual confidence and a shared reason to proceed.

The Riva approach
Access is personal.
So is the responsibility.
A direct relationship with Nicolas. A considered path from the first conversation to the right introduction.
Begin in confidenceA private introduction.
Share your acquisition criteria or the opportunity you represent. We establish the context, the parties involved and a reason to continue.
Qualification and discretion.
For an acquisition, a serious expression of interest (EOI) frames the next exchange. Identity, capacity and authority are reviewed as appropriate; confidentiality is formalised through an NDA before sensitive information is shared.
Access, with purpose.
Subject to qualification and the relevant party’s approval, access to the data room and introductions to owners or their authorised representatives are arranged selectively.
Our role centres on private introductions. Neither an enquiry nor a meeting grants automatic access to confidential material.
